The current research has tried to investigate the effect of political intelligence training on citizenship education in twelfth grade students of Khash city and to answer the question whether political intelligence is effective on citizenship education of twelfth grade students. The research method is quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test methods. The statistical population of the present study includes 12th grade female students of Khash city studying in 2020-2021. The sampling method in this research was available and randomly in the form of two experimental and control groups. The approach of political intelligence (β=0.92) was effective on citizenship education. In addition, the results indicated the great influence of political intelligence on citizenship education and there was a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group. According to the research findings, the effect size of the political intelligence variable on the components of citizenship education (legislation, participation, responsibility, and self-confidence) was 0.81, 0.76, 0.73, and 0.79 percent, respectively. In general, the results showed that the political intelligence variable of 0.92 had a significant effect on citizenship education. Political intelligence ensures student success, reduces student anxiety, and improves social interaction and communication. The results showed that political intelligence is effective on citizenship education and its components. The variable of political intelligence predicts the variable of citizenship education and its components with a high effect size. According to this, students with high political intelligence have the ability to increase group performance.
