Generous behaviors and charitable participation are influenced by multiple individual, social, and cultural motivations that can operate simultaneously. But all motivations and factors do not have the same importance and influence. Therefore, in addition to identifying these factors and motivators, it is necessary to pay attention to the importance and causal relationships between them. Based on this, in the current research, using the interactive management (IM) method, the factors affecting the generous behavior and participation in charity work by donors have been identified and the relationship between the factors has been determined in an integrated model. The most important motivations for participating in charity affairs were drawn in the form of an interpretive structural model based on the opinions of 6 charities participating in the interactive management meeting who were purposefully selected, after correcting and confirming the donors and reaching group agreement and consensus. Based on the results, religious beliefs/closeness to God, government support from benefactors, adequate income and economic security and influence from trustworthy and good people, responsibility and sense of religion to society, seeking justice and helping the needy, individual interest in charity activities and gaining fame. And the permanence of one's name and the survivors were recognized as the most important effective motivations.
